Widgets

Widgets adds some dynamic content or a control to a page. i.e. lists, menus or forms. This gives Knarly sites the ability to build rich user generated content such as forums, articles etc. In fact everything you see in the knarly admin section is created using widgets too.

Please note that widgets can only be defined by administrators, with the exception of the [http] widget which can be used by all users (but the administrator must have set the snipet).

There are a only a few widgets for editing and displaying data so there is less to learn. They are all initiated with [xxxx:(parameters)], a 4-letter-word* followed by a colon and wrapped in brackets "[" and "]".

I.e..

[widgetname:param1:value1;param2:value2;...paramN;valueN]

Form

 * list replaces categorymenu and dataset from v1.4

Find

[find:...]

* find previously called searchform from v1.4

Sign

[sign:...]

 * sign previously called signin from v1.4
